Hallfield Fun Day for all 23 July 2010
‘Hallfield’s Found Talent’ competition was the highlight of the this year’s Hallfield Fun Day, which took place earlier this month on the Hallfield Estate in Bayswater, Westminster. The fun day really brought out the best in the local community spirit with over 300 residents turning out on the day. It was organised by CityWest homes with the support from Pinnacle PSG estate staff. Events also included a local steel band, live music, zumba dancers, fairground rides, beauty treatments and face painting. Val Weathersbee, Chair of the Brewers Court Residents Association, applauded the organisers, “Everyone in the estate office goes beyond the call of duty to care for your clients. The fun day was brilliant with the staff always going that extra mile for us all, which really helps the whole community”. Pinnacle PSG Estate Manager, Fasil Raja, said: “We came up with the idea of having a fun day a few years ago, after discussions with local residents who highlighted concerns over the poor relations between the young and old communities. “This year our aim was to increase community cohesion and create an opportunity to build and enhance stronger relations with our residents, as well as having some fun at the same time”, he added.
