If you require an interim manager, the first step is to contact us, ideally by telephone or by email if necessary. We strongly recommend a face-to-face meeting at which we can gather all the relevant information but we do recognise that this is sometimes not possible. In such circumstances, a very detailed telephone call will enable us to begin sourcing candidates.

In order to find the ideal candidate for your organisation, we need you to provide us with details of your requirements, including:

• The background to the situation and how the vacancy has arisen
• The background details about your organisation, such as reporting lines, current issues, and who the key stakeholders are in this situation
• The terms of reference, including the nature of the task, what the anticipated deliverables are, and how success will be measured
• The experience, qualities and competencies that you require
• Anticipated length of assignment.

We will then produce a shortlist of the best available interims in our network. We will arrange for you to interview candidates and manage feedback and offers – including finalising fee arrangements with both parties.

Once you have chosen the right candidate for you, we will brief you on how to make the most of your interim manager. We will be with you throughout the contract to ensure a successful outcome, for both your organisation and our candidate.
